She cried last night

She was dead inside

Sorrow and grief, all she had beside

She had no purpose to live her life

Her husband left her, her parents died

She had no means to exist to survive

She had no purpose to live her life

With sadness and pain she oughtย to die

Before she could jump

She heard the sound, a baby cry

She helped the baby and felt delight

Now she has a purpose to live her life

Well written poem! Perhaps the woman hearing the baby cry in the poem may feel like she’ll have a baby of her own someday. That’s the impression I get from it. I think the moral of the term ‘purpose’ is that everyone came to exist on this world to achieve something. Despite the hardships, we as humans will evolve and hopefully learn from the mistakes of previous generations.

I think we all sometimes feel like this, but then we think about those that need us. My purpose is always my children, and recently myself, I owe myself to be the best me I can be.
